SMALL PIPE ORGANS

NEW LISTING! PP-258 Wonderful Frati Harmonipan Style Monkey Organ These Harmonipan style monkey organs are scarce and really delightful. This one is fairly large with 333 keys. It has 19 pipes above and 19 in the bottom. The lid has some damage and looks like it might have been modified or partly replaced although it has proper age, and there is some minor damage elsewhere on the case (see photos). Overall a great appearance and sounds great (although it needs to be tuned), playing very strong. 22 ¾" wide, 13 ¾" deep, 23 ½" high. $7,000.

WM-228 Circa 1810 Organ Clock
This is an early and very interesting wall mounted organ clock. It has 33 pipes and each pipe has a key on the barrel, making for very interesting and lovely sounding arrangements. Recent mechanical restoration (not a full restoration, but work on the pipes and the tuning and the actual operation, no cosmetic restoration work done) has this organ playing really well. Eight tune barrel. Tune styles marked on a card on a small access door, and also marked John Siebert Meirstadt (a little hard to read) who is presumably the maker. Lovely military painting above dial. Pendulum bob repainted and there may be some other repainting or touch up, hard to tell. Weights do not appear to be original to this clock. $7,250.  [SOLD]

Modern Hofbauer 37-Key Monkey Organ With Cart We don’t normally handle modern (post-1920 or so) mechanical musical instruments, however we saw this when buying another piece and it was neat and fun so we decided to buy it. One of Hofbauer’s larger models. Very nice condition. I think it has around 65 pipes. It has eight of the multi-tune cassettes. Plays very well and sounds great and a lot of fun.  I'm not sure how old it is.  These retail for around $14,000 - $15,000 without the cart.  This one is close to like new and only $7,250.
